Enjoy the Month

Enjoy the Month You’re In- March

Can y’all believe March is already here?!

I feel like just yesterday I was spending a crazy New Years Eve night watching a Redbox movie with Corey and stuffing my face with ice cream.

The last week or two here in Virginia has been feeling pretty darn Spring-like and it’s got me in mood for warmer weather activities.

If you’re new around here and not too sure what this whole “enjoy the month” thing is all about, you can check out January’s post first where I explain why I’m doing this and pin February’s list for next year.

Alrighty, on to March!

Spring is here/on it’s way. (depending on where you’re at I suppose)

It’s time to get your front door ready and make yourself a new wreath. You can go crazy with faux florals, or keep it simple like this one from The Makers Society. I really love how she used an embroidery hoop instead of a “typical” wreath form.

St. Patty’s Day is on the 17th, so don’t forget to wear green so you don’t get pinched!

But, if you green really ain’t your thing, you could make this amazing looking Irish meal instead:

Traditional Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage from The Cookie Rookie

Challenge yourself by coming up with a new recipe using one or more of the items in this March produce list from Uproot Kitchen.

Sunday March 12, 2017 we spring ahead folks!

I for one, can not wait for this day because I’ll get some sunlight when I get home from work again.

Also, don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke detector!

If your landscape needs some sprucing up, start looking to Pinterest for ideas.

If you’re in a state where it’s still pretty cold in March, you can bring Spring inside by decorating with fresh flowers.

Bonus if you get creative and see how else you can display them besides a typical vase.

And if you’re not sure how to put together your own arrangement, check out these 5 simple steps from Craftsy.com.

Bikini seasons is gonna be here before we know it folks. If you’ve got some good weather, go blow the stink off and take your workout outside.

Click here to check out my simple at-home workout ideas.

And speaking of blowing the stink off yourself, slough off all that winter dullness and go get a mani, pedi, facial or all of the above.

Go shopping for some new clothes/shoes.

I am obsessed with all the floral maxis lately, this one is super duper cuuuttteee.

Not only do you deserve some TLC to get ready for spring, but your home does too! Spend a day or weekend checking off everything on this Spring cleaning to-do list from the one and only Joanna Gaines.

That’s all for today folks, I hope you like March’s list, let me know what your favorite March activities are in the comments!

All amazingly refreshing activities to do in March! The spring cleaning chart is very helpful. I intend to get started next week, when the weather warms up just a little bit more here in the Med.

    Thanks for sharing.
